Easter and spring go hand-in-hand, so it's no wonder that lovely spring flowers are often associated with Easter cards -- especially in vintage greeting cards.

This collection of floral vintage Easter cards runs the gamut from very serious Easter flower images to the downright silly. There's one card with flowers that surround a frog -- in what looks like an old-time striped Speedo -- juggling colored Easter eggs while baby chicks look on, and another with human children's heads inserted into Easter lilies. There's yet another card with children either growing out of pots of pink chrysanthemums or just playing in them. If you're looking for a more whimsical take on Easter cards this year, any of those should do the job.

There are also plenty of more traditional Easter flower cards that incorporate roses, forget-me-nots, violets, pansies, pussywillows, ribbons, church bells and country church scenes, Easter eggs, baby chicks and other symbols of this season of renewal.

I hope that you find these vintage Easter cards useful! Please scroll down to see all the Easter cards and read the download instructions.

Please review the Terms of Use (in the Rules of the Road graphic at the bottom of the page) before downloading any art. "Free" does not mean you can do anything you want with these images. Please honor the terms. If you don't understand them or have questions, please write to carla [@] b2bcontentsolutions. [com]. (Remove brackets and spaces before e-mailing.)

Then, if you have a PC, right-click and save the final version of the artwork to your hard drive. If you have a Mac, control-click the image until you get a pop-up menu with an option to save it.

The first set of Easter cards (vertical) do not have links to the largest pictures. Or, maybe what is shown is the largest?

Thanks so much for pointing that out, Dolores! I forgot to check the box that allows the larger images to show. It's fixed now.
