If you love vintage angel images, Easter is yet another time to collect them or create crafts, cards or other projects that you want to feature heavenly messengers.

These vintage Easter angel cards give you a wide selection of angels: from baby cherubs to child angels to adult female angels. Some are surrounded by flowers and crosses or other symbols of the religious celebration of Easter. Some are more secular and feature Easter eggs and baby chicks. But all are sweet and classic vintage interpretations of angel art!

I particularly like the first two cards posted below, for entirely different reasons. The first card may be by artist Ellen Clapsaddle (it's not signed), the most prolific greeting card artist of the late 1800s and early 1900s. Her style is warm and accessible, so I always enjoy her cards. The second card is of a different, more hard-edged style, but I appreciate the attention to detail undertaken when printing it. There's quite a bit of gold embossing, which must have made the card more expensive when it was originally sold.
