Free Butterfly Scrapbook Papers, Journaling Cards and Embellishments

You would have to be the worst sort of grouch to not like butterflies, especially the cheerful, colorful ones on these free scrapbook papers, layouts and embellishments. And if you're a scrapbooker, maker of handmade cards or a crafter in general, you probably already know the versatility of these regal-looking insects. They can be used for almost any theme: birthdays, weddings, baby showers, graduations, congratulations,spring, summer or any time you want portray the image of freedom and beauty.

The particular butterflies on these scrapbook journaling cards, papers and embellishments came from Picnic, the free online graphics software program. The Picnic artists created these brightly colored beauties but I arranged them into the patterns you see on this page. Choose a small thumbnail version of any of the butterfly scrapbook papers, layouts and embellishments in the right column. When you click on one of the images, it will appear larger.

IMPORTANT: Once you've chosen a scrapbook paper or layout and see it larger, double-click on the larger image, which will make the best version of the art appear.

Then, if you have a PC, just right-click and save the final version of the artwork to your hard drive. If you're a Mac user, control-click the image until you get a pop-up menu that will give you an option to save the file on your hard drive.
