Free Printable Boys Birthday Party Invitations
87These days, there's not that much difference between boys birthday party invitations and invitations for girls parties. That's a good thing, because that means the societal stereotypes are breaking down and there are fewer things that separate us as people. So a girl can have a frog- or barnyard-themed party and no one would think anything about it. But there are still some themes that boys definitely love and I've tried to capture some of them here.

Instructions
- Please read the Terms of Use below before downloading.
- To view larger versions of the invitation designs (sized for 5" x 7" (A7) or 3 1/2" x 4 7/8" (A4) ), click on the actual images or the text links under the "Download the Boys Birthday Party Invitations Here" heading in the right column.
To download, click the text link of the invitation you want under the "Download the Boys Birthday Party Invitations Here" heading. If you have a PC, you can right-click to save the image to your hard drive. If you have a Mac, control-click your mouse to save the art. - Once the art is on your hard drive, there are a variety of methods you can use to create the invitations:
Method A. If you have a printer with software that will allow you to position two images on a page from one piece of art, and you're willing to fill out the party information on each individual printed invitation, use your computer's print feature to print the invitations.
Method B. Paste the art into a graphics program, such as GIMP (it's free!) or Photoshop Elements, and add whatever text you want. You can then save the file as a .jpg or .png and either print it as indicated in Method A; create a file with two versions of the artwork side-by-side and then print that as indicated in Method A; or paste the artwork into MS Word or another word processing program and print it from there.
Method C. Paste the artwork into MS word or another word processing program without altering it in a graphics program first. Using this method will mean you'll have to fill in the information on each invitation.
Method D. Print a copy of the invitation artwork at the largest size you can (this will produce good image quality) and then fill in the party information on that copy. Once it's filled in, scan that page at a minimum of 300 dpi and create a .jpg. You can then print it by using either Method A or Method C. You'll probably need to crop the image right up to the edges of the invitation artwork if you plan to use Method A. - Once you have printed the number of invitations you need, you can either cut them out with scissors (although this is time-consuming and not entirely accurate), or use a craft knife/straight edge/cutting board or a paper cutter. Or, you can also have them cut at a local printer, office supply store or copy shop. My vote would be for using a copy shop or printer, because they have more experience with cutting than office supply store copy centers. I had several bad experiences with cutting I had done at an office supply store.
Tips:
- The art is sized for 5" x 7" (A7) or 3 1/2" x 4 7/8" (A4) envelopes, so be sure to male the art fit one of those sizes if you'll be mailing your invitations. If you'll be hand-delivering them, you can obviously make them whatever size you want.
- If you'll be mailing the invitations, purchase your envelopes before you print. That way, you can do a test first to make sure you have the invitation artwork sized correctly to fit in the envelopes.
- For best results, use the thickest card stock your printer will allow.
- You can decorate the finished invitations with glitter glue, glitter or other embellishments.
