Free Birthday Scrapbook Paper Designs

I've probably spent a small fortune on birthday scrapbook papers in my handmade-card-making career. (Well, it's not exactly a career; I just like to make handmade cards.) Anyway, the papers end up costing quite a bit by the time you get all the colors and patterns you want. And I always seemed to need one that I didn't buy to finish off a design, which frustrated me. So I was excited when I realized that I could just make my own scrapbook paper designs with Picnik, the free online graphics program. As anyone who scrapbooks knows, the same papers that work great for birthday card backgrounds also are perfect for scrapbooking. So these paper designs can serve many purposes, including serving as wrapping paper for small gifts. I tried that using one of my flower scrapbook papers to wrap a CD I gave someone for a birthday and it came out beautifully.

To download, choose a thumbnail version of any of the birthday scrapbook papers. When you click on one, it will appear larger.  Once you've chosen an image and see it larger, double-click on the larger image, which will make the best version of the art appear.

If you have a PC, just right-click and save the final version of the artwork to your hard drive. If you're a Mac user, you should control-click the image until you get a pop-up menu that will give you an option to save the file.
